Looks like you had fun!
ReplyDeleteI wanna see the toilet tank label :-)
I really need to make labels for my homemade cleaners! These are cute - and inspiring!
ReplyDeleteTwo questions - what's in your laundry stain remover? I've been looking for a good one for forever!
And I love the bottle for your Air Freshener - where did you get it?
Thanks!
~Emily @ Live Renewed
P.S. I'm a green blogger too, and looking forward to meeting you at Blissdom!
Laundry Stain Remover Recipe - 1 part liquid detergent to 3 parts water. I bought a plant based liquid detergent that didn't work in my HE machine. I tried this an alternative so I wouldn't waste it. I like it better!
DeleteAir Freshener bottles - Stanley Steamer (the carpet people) are locally based and sponsor 5Ks.Every year they have sample of a carpet cleaner in the race pack. I save the bottles for stuff like this.
Emily I'm looking forward to meeting you IRL too!
I love this post! Thank you for posting it. I want to start using my own cleaners. We are using natural cleaners right now, but once our stock gets low, I think I will try it out.
ReplyDeleteI am visiting from WFMW today, and glad I did!
Very clever labels! I would love it if you would come link up with Busy Monday (through Thursdays) at A Pinch of Joy, a linky party for ideas that make life better, easier and more fun!
ReplyDeleteThe labels are conversation starers. I think they are brilliant and fun!
ReplyDeleteWe love this! We both make our own cleaners and mine do not have cute labels.. We have a link party going on as well. Would you link up with us too? You could be featured next week!

Awesome labels! Why did you have to say you can't show us one of them? Now I want to see it! lol I tried making my own shower and tub cleaner last week (1 part vinegar to 1 part dawn dishwashing soap) and I can't get over the smell, and it's half diluted! How do you handle cleaning the kitchen with straight vinegar?!
ReplyDeleteGen @ colormedomestic.blogspot.com
Vinegar smell doesn't bother me. It goes away quickly after it dried unlike those fake flower scented cleaners I used to buy. Pickeling 17 pints of pickels last summer helped me get over the smell real quick!
DeleteYes, toilet tank label please! and I love some of the humor on these labels, why not get ridiculous?
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of making my own cleaning solutions too. I'm just tired of using countless products who's ingredients I can't even read. Love your labels too. So cute! p.s. I'm your newest follower :)
ReplyDeleteLol! This is hilarious! I love your captions. I am so doing this to my homemade sprays! XD
