What Can I Make Out of THIS?!

Do you ever say yes to something sight unseen sure that you can remake it into an upcycled DIY found object save it from the landfill masterpiece only to be completely stumped when it arrives and you see it for the first time but only after you told the giver you are totally confident you can make magic with what they originally described as awful?

Me. Neither.

Do you have any ideas on what I can make from stained and faded little old lady curtains?

The previous owner left three stained and faded cafe curtains for new owner Kim from The Reluctant Renovator (and her new blog The Maker Mom.) Kim did what any reasonable person would do - banished them to a corner of her basement so they would never see the light of day again.

Until I volunteered to make something from them sight unseen.

I have three 22 x 25 inch curtain panels and a frilly valance and tiebacks. Sadly (and to Kim's relief) I do not have  enough fabric to make us matching sundresses and frilly Little House on the Prairie bonnets (whew! Fashion disaster averted.) 

I need to marinade on this awhile.

Do you have any ideas on what I can make from old curtains?
