Goddess Garden Organics Giveaway!

I received this product for free as part of a review and giveaway opportunity with Bookieboo, LLC. The opinions in my review are honest and my own.

I have a deep crazy, love for shea butter and shea butter oil. Shea loves mdaily lotion tangerine lavendere back by keeping my skin from looking like an alligator’s.

Shea also gives me an extra kiss on the skin when paired with organic and safe ingredients. That may be harder to find but it is important. Skin in the largest organ in the body. If something is on your skin, it is eventually absorbed by your skin and ends up in you.

Being the DIY gal that I am, I tried making shea butter lotion from one of the many recipes I pinned to my Pinterest boards.  My attempts were greasy and none of them have the sun protection my almost vampiricly pale skin needs outside without burning.
I like my lotions to have some sort of sun protection because I always remember to apply lotion in the morning and almost never remember to apply sunscreen in the morning.

I gave up on making lotion.

Then I got a chance to try one I could buy courtesy of Goddess Garden Organics and Bookieboo.
Goddess Garden Organics Daily Lotion is a moisturizing daily lotion with broad spectrum SPF 15 sun protection. 91% of its ingredients are organic, which is the highest concentration of organic ingredients in any sunscreen on the market to date. Daily Lotion comes in three yummy and artificial fragrance free scents: Tangerine Lavender, Lavender Mint, and Grapefruit Bergamot.

I put the Tangerine Lavender Daily Lotion to the test. The scent is light and pleasant – just enough to smell yummy but too much to be over powering. Lacey must like it too because she always licks my leg after I apply it. Good thing Daily Lotion is made with natural ingredients!

The only very minor downside is Goddess Garden Organics Daily Lotion is a little thick and doesn’t apply evenly or rub in as well (although I’m impatient so it could be that) unless I give the tube a good shake before applying it.  This is easily fixed by shaking the tube to mix it a bit before applying the lotion. As long as I remember to shake the tube, it applies evenly and rubs in like I like my lotions to do. Daily Lotion is not greasy like my DIY attempts. I call it a win.

The Tangerine Lavender scent also passes Husband’s If You Buy Scented Anything We Share I Do Not Want to Smell Like Girly Flowers test. Good thing because he is even worse about not applying sunscreen than I am!

I like Daily Lotion has some sun protection now that it is officially Fall. As the weather goes from blazing hot summer to warm fall, I know I still need to apply sunscreen when we are out and about enjoying fall festivals with Lacey but I forget because it is not 90 degrees outside. The SPF 15 is just enough to keep me from burning on overcast days or when I forget to apply the higher SPF sunscreen I normally use (Goddess Garden has those too.)

I like Goddess Garden Organics Daily Lotion so much that asked them if I can give you an opportunity to try it too!
