Carve a Life Size Snake Pumpkin for Halloween!

You may not know this but I have something in common with the archaeological adventurer Indiana Jones.

I hate snakes.

I think snakes are creepy, ugly, slimy, and icky! Icky! Icky!

Spiders I can handle, but snakes? Not unless they are incredibly and undoubtably fake.

Pin this post!

Or they light up. Like this guy!

It's another outdoor Halloween decor idea to shameless borrow from my trip to Cedar Point for BloggyCon last month.

They made snakes by laying fake pumpkins on their sides, drilling holes with different sized drill bits in the sides and both ends of the pumpkin, and running a string of orange Halloween lights inside the pumpkins. The string lights keep the sections of the snake in place with a creepy glow from inside the pumpkins.

Here's what one of the smaller pumpkin snakes looks like in all of its sneaky snake glory.

Anyone speak pumpkin parsal tongue?

It wouldn't be difficult to make one for your yard for Halloween. What do you think?
