Tiny Treehouse House Tour

 Tiny houses are all the rage. They are cute, twee, and have a ridiculously small carbon footprint.

What could be better?

How about a tiny house built in a tree that's a little B and B? That was originally built to be a tiny tree house brewery until the owners converted it into a rental cabin?

 I am completely smitten with the gorgeous arched stained glass window!

The tree house was originally built to be a craft brewery and tasting center in the Mohican, Ohio area. Owners Laura and Kevin Mooney later converted it into a rental cabin that sleeps two but it still retains its original charm.

Inside and out the tree-house is designed to resemble an old Ohio barn. The owners used reused and repurposed materials as much as possible.

The owners are committed to sustainable building. The tree-house has passive solar, radiant heat, and on-demand hot water. They use eco friendly products to maintain the property and hired local labor to build it.


Imagine a lazy morning sipping coffee at the breakfast bar and watching Mother Nature's floor show through those windows! There's also an outdoor seating area on the deck.

 The ladder next to the kitchen goes up to a cozy loft bed.

 The tree house has an indoor flush toilet and an outdoor shower that is walled off for privacy.

If you are looking for paradise, this just might be it. Well, as long as you aren't afraid of heights. The You have to climb a staircase and cross a narrow 30 foot extension bridge. to get to the Little Red Tree House. I think it's worth it. I'd stay there. Would you?
