Condo Blues: PR and Disclosure

PR and Disclosure

I also like to do product reviews. I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on the products or services I review. In other words, I test products and write my honest opinion about the item. I try to write the type of balanced review of products and services that I personally find helpful.

I’m a professional freelance writer with a degree in Public Relations and started my career in the television industry. I write by those journalistic principals. I always disclose to my readership how I received a product or service that I review. I believe that it's important so my readers can take this into consideration when reading my option about a product.

I'm an early adopter and product design really flips my switch. I have a mad crush on trying different green cleaning supplies (which sounds like a very strange hobby because it is.) I geek out on technology, build my own computers, and write about them too.

Condo Blues readers are:

  • DIYers
  • Environmentally friendly/green living advocates
  • Frugal, saving money folk
  • Moms and Dads (I have 9 little product testers ranging in age from 5 months - 17 years)
  • Cooks/bakers/foodies
  • Crafters
  • Decorators
  • Gardeners
  • Dog/Pet owners
I promote my blog through various social media outlets. I belong to several blog networking groups. I participate in blog carnivals and attend and volunteer at blog conferences including BlogHer where I served on the Blogher Green Committee 2009-2010 and Blissdom. Condo Blues has a Google page rank of 4 and has a large number of readers and subscribers, although many of them choose not leave comments on my blog posts.

I've had the pleasure of working with many great companies large and small including Craftsman, Ford, Cisco Systems, White Cloud, Delta Faucet Company, Nature's Source, Skil, Chevrolet, EcoSmart, Feelgoodz, ecostore, KOR one, Dr. Bronners, Earthlust, and others.

I've also worked with brands as an ambassador on both of my blogs with companies including White Cloud, One Million Acts of Green (owned by Cisco,) Purex, and Freschetta.

I also write a food blog Lazy Budget Chef which may be available for cross promotion purposes if the project dictates.

The views and opinions expressed on Condo Blues are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

I have limited number of posts that I can devote to products reviews and sponsored giveaways on my blog. In that case, you might want to buy an ad on my blog to give your product better exposure.
