Turquoise and Orange Eco Modern Patio

Despite the weird bit of snow we got yesterday - in April! I'm dreaming of fun outdoor designs for the patio. A recent diet of Yard Crashers marathons and spending an hour and a half  in an MRI machine will do that to ya.

I mean, what else are you going to do, while holding as still as possible for so long in a tube while it scans every single angle of your leg and knee? Some people nap. I decorate my patio.

I started with the color orange because Husband and I want to start almost every paint project with the color orange and eventually change it something not orange. I paired it with blue because blue and orange are trending this summer and that blue looks suspiciously like the blue  in the Condo Blues logo
.

I tried to keep the materials as eco-friendly as I could while creating a modern but comfortable and inviting space. In my dream yard, we would have lots of outdoor dinners and BBQs and close out the evening around the fire pit.

I didn't pay attention to budget, since this is a virtual patio but the high - low decorating thing I do is most certainly here. The paper lanterns, Dino planter (how fun is that?!), seed papers, and pillows are on the low end. In theory, the money saved on the low end items would go toward the high price items - the fire pit and its furniture, and the Jonathan Adler planter. One day I will own a real Jonathan Adler something but probably something I will see and use more often than a concrete summer planter.  Um, not to mention it is $800 flower pot.

I lovely, lovely $800 concrete flower pot to be sure but Lacey reminded me how many dog treats $800 will buy and we all know sometimes spoiling Lacey trumps a flower pot.

Keep trying Lisa. I know this isn't $800 worth of  homemade pumpkin dog  treats  for me to eat.
