I have two quick and easy homemade gift tag tutorials to share with you today. They are perfect for snow lowers and Frozen fanatics!
Or for people who should be cleaning their craft room and get distracted by a pile of leftover supplies and decide to make something with them instead of tackling the higher priority stuff on their Holiday To Do List.
Not that I know anything about that.
Homemade Snowflake Gift Tags
You will need to make this project
Tag shape paper punch
2 1/4 inch circle paper punch
Snowflake paper punch
Blue card stock - I am recycling expired business cards for this project. I like the design on the back of the card.
White paper or cardstock
Silver paper or cardstock
Ribbon
Glue stick
Bakers twine
Scissors
Disclosure: I included affiliate links in this post for your convenience.
Step by Step How to Make it
1. Use the tag shaped paper punch to punch a gift tag shape from the card stock. Since I am upcycling business cards, I also punch a second tag shape from either plain cardstock or paper and glue it to the front of the original business card to cover the information.2. Punch a circle from white paper or cardstock with the circle paper punch.
3. Punch one or more snowflakes from blue, silver, or white paper or cardstock with the snowflake punch.
4. Glue a piece of ribbon or paper circle to the right side of the gift tag and trim it to fit as needed. Offsetting the design does double duty. It is more visually interesting and covers the old address printed on the back of the defunct company’s business card.
5. Glue the paper snowflake (s ) in the center of the paper circle or along the ribbon.
6. Cut piece of bakers twine with the scissors, tie it to the gift tag, and you're ready to wrap!
I showed you my project, now it's time to share yours!
