That is, until I took a tip from my alter Elizabethan ego. I bought a cloth Chinese parasol from Amazon (aff) (the paper umbrellas rip too often and easily with use) and carry it or my favorite Battenberg Lace parasol (aff) (so pretty!) to outdoor events to keep me sun safe and a helps keep me cooler.in the summer heat. Especially when I add a hand fan.
I'm Mary Poppins y'all!
It really isn't as unwisely to carry as you might think. Most of the time I have a Dog Mommy Tote Bag with me, I can pop the umbrella into when I need two hands to eat or wrangle our extricate - pup Lacey.
How do you beat the summer heat?
Let's party!
